​Philippines. BCI Regional Convention & Exhibition 2016

The 2016 Philippine Bonsai Convention & Exhibition was held at Makati City/Manila last March 16-20, 2016. This year they featured about 300 Bonsai and many Suiseki. It was attended by the International Bonsai & stone headliners: Dr. Tom Elias (USA), Peter Huang (China), Min Hsuan Lo (Taiwan), Shinichi Nakajima (Japan), Xu Wen Ren (Taiwan), William Valavanis (USA), and  Ricky Wu (Hong Kong & China).
 
There were also an Interactive Bonsai Workshop (Simultaneous Hands-on workshop of Philippine trees guided by International bonsai masters.), Philippine Fiesta Bazaar and Philippine Handicrafts and Souvenir items

Stones and Bonsai collector Anthony Tonet V. Gedang  bags 13 awards Gold, silver and bronze awards for different category of Mame' bonsai and Suiseki Stones.
