Heroe's Hall & the Millennium Monument &Matthias Church ​

​Matthias Church is a Roman Catholic church located in Budapest, Hungary, in front of the Fisherman's Bastion at the heart of Buda's Castle District. According to church tradition, it was originally built in Romanesque style in 1015, although no archaeological remains exist.The current building was constructed in the florid late Gothic style in the second half of the 14th century and was extensively restored in the late 19th century. It was the second largest church of medieval Buda and the seventh largest church of the medieval Hungarian Kingdom.

Poznan Poland Church St. Anthony
​

​It rises on the slope of Przemysł Hill, west of the Old Market Square. Conventual Franciscans (in black habits) came to Poznań in the first half of the 17th century. In 1646 they built a wooden church and monastery near Grobla (in the spot occupied today by the All Saints Church), and when those burnt down ten years later, they took over the St Roch Church in Miasteczko. In 1668 they were granted permission to settle inside the city walls.
 
The construction of a church was begun in 1674. Being located in close proximity to the city walls, it suffered severe damage in 1704 during the siege of the city. The church was eventually completed in 1757.

Willanow Palace
​

Wilanów Palace or Wilanowski Palace  is a royal palace located in the Wilanów district, Warsaw. Wilanów Palace survived Poland's partitions and both World Wars, and so serves as a reminder of the culture of the Polish state as it was before the misfortunes of the 18th century.
​
It is one of Poland's most important monuments. The Palace's museum, established in 1805, is a repository of the country's royal and artistic heritage. The palace and park in Wilanów hosts cultural events and concerts, including Summer Royal Concerts in the Rose Garden and the International Summer Early Music Academy.

The palace, together with other elements of Warsaw Old Town, is one of Poland's official national Historic Monuments (Pomnik historii), as designated September 16, 1994. Its listing is maintained by the National Heritage Board of Poland.

Since 2006, the palace has been a member of the international association of European Royal Residences

St. Jakobs-Kirche  at Rothenburg  ​

​A historic Lutheran church built 1311-1484 which serves as a church on the pilgrimage route to St. James Church in Santiago de Campostela, Spain. Its western gallery contains the famous altar of the Holy Blood named for the rare relic which contains a small sample of Christ's blood.

Romerplatz

A medieval building in the Aldstadt of Frankfurt Main, Germany and one of the city's most important landmarks. It has been the city hall of Frankfurt for over 600 years.

Most of Frankfurt’s historical core was destroyed in air raids in 1945. Although the city rebuilt mostly modern, some historic buildings were restored including the Römer Rathaus and half-timbered buildings on Römerberg. The old town is small and flat making historic Frankfurt a nice city to explore

French Open

​The 2016 French Open was a tennis tournament played on outdoor clay courts. It was the 115th edition of the French Open and the second Grand Slam event of the year. It took place at the Stade Roland Garros from 22 May to 5 June and consisted of events for professional players in singles, doubles and mixed doubles play.
