Ngoin Helmet Mask

They are usually worn during state ceremonies or during annual festivities. The lead dancer wears a mask which bears a false beard.
This typical female mask "ngoin" wears the distinct headdress of royal titled wives and symbolizes the role of women as complementary to men.
