Home > Events/Blog > Artiste Collection featured in Ayala Museum With the growing collection of Tonet Gedang's Artiste Museum, we have been invited to feature and share some of our collection. We displayed the selection of our ornaments - Bonsai and Japanese traditional art of stone appreciation, Suiseki Collection Featured in Ayala MuseumAyala Museum in Makati, Philippines, is owned and run privately by one of the most prominent families in the country, under the management of Ayala Foundation, Inc. The museum is in the middle of the busy commercial and business district around tall buildings and skyscrapers from different local and global companies which is also near a luxury mall. Despite the busy surrounding, you can find peace, harmony, and feed your art appreciation when inside the museum. As it houses ethnographic and archaeological exhibits on Filipino culture, art, and history Ayala Museum's permanent exhibitions are Diorama that features historical collections and chronicle Philippine history that highlights major events and themes from prehistoric times to the recognition of Philippine independence by the United States in 1946. Also included in the permanent exhibition covers different topics such as Historical Maritime Vessels, Pioneers of Philippine Art, Golds of Ancestors, Collection of Philippine Garments & Millenium of Contact that features ancient Chinese ceramics that shows our ties with our asian neighbors. The museum also has a whole floor dedicated to feature new galleries and collection on its "changing exhibitions". It features contemporary exhibitions from both Filipino artists to contemporary international art. COLLECTIONBonsaiAbove are the photos of the Bonsai collection from the private gallery of Tonet Gedang which was featured in Ayala Museum. SUISEKISuiseki is a from of traditional Japanese art of stone appreciation.
